Back-to-School Event Hire in Ireland

The new school year is here, and September brings far more than new uniforms, timetables and finding out who has managed to lose their PE kit already. Schools, colleges, youth organisations and community groups across Ireland are starting another busy term, with induction days, pupil rewards, family events, fundraisers and autumn celebrations all appearing on the calendar.

G Force Amusements can help turn those occasions into something pupils can really get involved with. From inflatables and competitive games to funfair rides and attractions, traditional treats and complete funfair installations, we can put together entertainment for primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and community organisations throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Start the School Year with an Active Fun Day

Not every back-to-school event needs to involve sitting in an assembly hall. An activity day can give pupils an opportunity to meet new classmates, work together and burn off some of that beginning-of-term energy.

The Toxic Bootcamp Challenge Assault Course is particularly well suited to larger school events. The complete course stretches to around 150ft and includes twin racing lanes, tunnels, climbing sections, Bish Bash barriers, a demolition ball and dual freefall slides. Individual sections can also be hired where the full course would be too large for the available space.

For another physical challenge, pupils can tackle the Warrior Wall, choosing between different levels before racing to the top and sliding back down. The Xtreme Demolition Zone takes things in a completely different direction, putting four competitors on individual podiums around a suspended demolition ball.

Games That Get New Classes Talking

September often means new classes, new year groups and, for some pupils, an entirely new school. Interactive games can be useful additions to induction days because they naturally encourage children and teenagers to participate together.

Holey Moley Human Whack A Mole brings seven players together in a fast competition involving balls, hungry human moles and one player in the middle armed with an inflatable hammer. Meanwhile, Foot Pool turns the familiar game of pool into a football challenge that can be enjoyed by a wide range of ages and abilities.

Schools can also create their own sports area with the Wall 2 Wall Inflatable Football Arena or add baseball, basketball and Velcro darts with our 3 in 1 Sports Inflatable. A combination of several smaller games can work particularly well where pupils are being rotated between activity stations.

Back-to-School Entertainment for Younger Pupils

Primary and early-years events need a different balance of attractions. Our range includes commercial-grade bouncy castles, slides and play equipment suitable for larger organised events as well as children’s parties.

The Paw Patrol Play Zone combines a bouncy area, ball pool, slide and interactive inflatable features, while themed choices include the Disney Bouncy Castle, Ice Kingdom Bouncy Castle and Spiderman Bouncy Castle.

Where there’s room for something bigger, the Minions Mega Slide or traditional-looking Helter Skelter Inflatable Slide can provide a prominent centrepiece for the activity area.

Bring the Funfair to Your School or Community Event

A larger autumn event can go considerably further than inflatables. Schools, PTAs and community organisations can build a mini funfair using some of our family and children’s amusement rides.

The Spinning Teacups Carousel seats up to 24 riders and has a covered circus-style top, while the Safari Train Ride provides a colourful tracked train attraction for younger children. Its track can be configured for different spaces, making it useful for school grounds and suitable indoor venues.

Other possibilities include the Toyset Carousel, Bumper Carz and the two-storey Fire Department Fun House. For major school, council or community events, we can also provide larger fairground attractions through our complete funfair hire service.

Autumn Fundraisers with a Competitive Twist

The beginning of term also means the return of PTA fundraising and school charity events. The Kentucky Derby Racer offers something very different from an inflatable. Up to eight competitors race their horses by rolling balls into scoring holes, making it suitable for competitions, fundraising activities and larger school events.

For organisations arranging branded events or working with sponsors, our Custom Branded Kentucky Derby provides opportunities for bespoke presentation and corporate giveaways.

And it won’t be long before the festive version appears. Our Racing Reindeers gives the game a Christmas transformation for schools already looking ahead to their December programmes.

Food Stalls for School Fetes and Family Days

A busy afternoon of bouncing, racing and climbing tends to produce hungry pupils. Our event food options include familiar fairground favourites such as Candy Floss, Popcorn and Dinky Donuts.

For autumn and winter events, Toast Your Own Marshmallows offers a particularly seasonal addition. Guests can toast marshmallows around a specially designed gas fire pit under the supervision of our trained team, creating an interactive food experience as well as a refreshment option.

Indoor School Events When the Weather Changes

September might still occasionally feel like summer, but this is Ireland, so nobody should build an entire autumn events programme around that assumption.

Several of our attractions can operate indoors where a suitable sports hall, community centre or other venue is available. Options such as Foot Pool, the Kentucky Derby, selected bouncy castles, inflatable games and the Safari Train can work indoors subject to the required dimensions, access and ceiling clearance.

Our team can discuss the available space with organisers and recommend suitable equipment. For outdoor events, we’ll also advise on the requirements for individual attractions and appropriate operating conditions.

Professional School Event Hire with Safety Built In

Schools understandably need more than exciting equipment. Safety, documentation and professional operation are fundamental when children are taking part.

G Force Amusements carries £10 million public liability insurance, and our relevant rides and equipment are tested by ADIPS practitioners. Risk assessments and test certificates are provided, while our uniformed staff are trained in equipment operation and Access NI checked. You can read more about our procedures on our Health & Safety page.

We handle delivery, setup, operation or supervision as appropriate, and collection afterwards. For larger programmes we can also assist with event management, event crew, security and medics, drivers, entertainment sourcing and other requirements through our network of trusted partners.

Back-to-School Event Hire Across Northern Ireland

Based in Belfast, we work with schools and event organisers throughout Northern Ireland. That includes Belfast, Co Down, Co Antrim, Co Armagh, Co Tyrone, Co Fermanagh and Derry.

Our coverage extends well beyond Northern Ireland too. Get the New School Year Off to a Flying Start

The first weeks of term are a great opportunity to bring pupils, parents, staff and local communities together. It could be a small induction-day activity zone, an autumn PTA fundraiser, a whole-school reward event or a substantial family fun day with rides, games, inflatables and catering.

Tell us what you’re organising, where it’s taking place, the age groups attending and approximately how many guests you’re expecting. We’ll help identify attractions that make sense for the venue rather than simply trying to squeeze as much equipment onto the site as possible.
