Behind the Scenes

What Happens Before the Gates Open?

When visitors arrive at an event, everything is already in place. The rides are operating, the inflatables are fully installed, the catering is ready to serve and the entertainment is waiting to begin. What most people never see is everything that happens beforehand.

This section takes you behind the scenes at G Force Amusements, showing how our team prepares for events across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. From early morning departures and complex transport logistics to equipment inspections and final safety checks, these articles provide an insight into the work that goes into delivering successful events of every size.

Meet the Team Behind the Attractions

Every event relies on experienced people working together. Our crew transport equipment, position rides, install inflatables, prepare catering units and carry out detailed safety checks before the first guest arrives. Whether we’re building a complete funfair for a council festival or delivering a single bouncy castle for a birthday party, the same attention to detail is applied throughout the setup.

A Day in the Life of Event Hire

Some days begin before sunrise. Vehicles are loaded, routes are planned and equipment is checked before leaving our depot. Once on site, attractions are carefully positioned to suit the venue layout, access routes and expected visitor numbers. Larger events may involve multiple vehicles arriving in sequence to ensure every ride, game and food stall is installed efficiently.

These articles give a realistic picture of what event setup involves, from working alongside councils and event organisers to preparing attractions for thousands of visitors.

Looking After Our Equipment

Professional event hire doesn’t begin when equipment arrives on site. Throughout the year our rides, inflatables and games are cleaned, maintained, inspected and tested to ensure they’re ready for every booking. You’ll find features explaining how attractions are prepared between events, how seasonal maintenance is carried out and why regular inspections are an essential part of delivering safe entertainment.

From Empty Field to Full Funfair

Many organisers only ever see the finished result. Behind the scenes, however, there’s careful planning to transform parks, school fields, town centres and event venues into fully functioning entertainment spaces. We regularly share stories showing how sites evolve from empty spaces into busy events featuring funfair rides, interactive inflatables, catering units and activity areas.

More Than Just Entertainment

Behind every successful event are countless decisions involving transport, scheduling, staffing, safety and customer service. This section explores those often-overlooked aspects of the industry, giving readers a genuine insight into how professional event hire works from the inside.

If you’ve ever wondered how a Ferris wheel arrives on site, what happens during an ADIPS inspection, how multiple attractions are coordinated at a festival or what it’s like preparing for a busy summer weekend, you’ll find the answers here.
