Fun Day Event Hire in Northern Ireland: Rides, Inflatables, Games and More

A successful fun day needs entertainment that suits the people attending. Younger children might head straight for a bouncy castle or carousel, while older children and adults may prefer a competitive game, an assault course or a fairground ride. Food stalls, family attractions and activities for spectators help bring the whole event together.

At G Force Amusements, we provide a wide range of fun day event hire options throughout Northern Ireland. From a single attraction for a school celebration to a larger programme for a community festival or corporate family fun day, we can help organisers put together a suitable mix of entertainment.

Bouncy Castles and Inflatable Fun Day Attractions

Inflatables are a popular choice for school fun days, sports club celebrations, community events and family entertainment areas. Our range includes traditional bouncy castles, themed play equipment, slides and larger inflatable challenges.

For younger visitors, options include the Paw Patrol Play Zone, which combines a bouncing area, ball pool and slide. Themed bouncy castles can also provide a dedicated activity for children while other attractions operate elsewhere at the event.

For organisers looking for something larger, our Minions Mega Slide and Helter Skelter Slide add a different activity to a fun day programme.

The right inflatable selection depends on the ages of the participants, available space, venue access and the number of people expected to attend.

Assault Courses for School, Community and Corporate Fun Days

An inflatable assault course gives participants a challenge with a clear beginning and finish. It can work particularly well at events where people want to compete with friends, colleagues or family members.

Our Toxic Bootcamp Challenge Assault Course is available in several configurations:

Configuration Approximate dimensions
One section 65ft x 15ft
Two sections 129ft x 15ft
Full three-section course 150ft x 15ft

The full course features dual lanes, obstacles, climbing sections and slides. Its different configurations give organisers options when planning an event around the available space.

The Warrior Wall provides another physical challenge, with three routes of differing difficulty. It can be considered for fun days where participants want an activity that tests their climbing ability.

Competitive Inflatable Games

Not every fun day activity needs to involve bouncing or climbing. Competitive games can encourage participation from a wider range of visitors and give spectators something entertaining to watch.

Our Xtreme Demolition Zone features four player podiums and a suspended ball. Participants attempt to knock their opponents from their positions while maintaining their own balance.

The Holey Moley Human Whack A Mole is a seven-player game in which participants compete to collect balls while the player in the centre tries to stop them.

For a timed individual challenge, our Rodeo Bull features a digital timer, a foam head and an automatic cut-off system. It can provide a focal point for a suitable fun day, with participants attempting to record the longest ride.

These attractions can be used individually or combined to create a dedicated games area.

Football and Sports Activities for Fun Days

Sports-themed inflatables are useful additions to school events, club fun days and family entertainment programmes.

Our Wall 2 Wall Inflatable Football Arena measures approximately 50ft x 20ft and can accommodate games of up to five-a-side, subject to the applicable operating arrangements.

For shorter individual challenges, the 3 in 1 Sports Inflatable brings together baseball, basketball and Velcro darts.

We also offer Foot Pool, combining elements of football and pool in an activity that can be enjoyed without organising a full team match.

A sports area can sit alongside children’s rides and food stalls to give visitors different activities to choose from throughout the day.

Children’s Funfair Rides

A fun day with a broad family audience benefits from attractions designed specifically for younger visitors.

Our children’s ride options include the Teacups Carousel, Toyset Carousel, Safari Train Ride and Bumper Carz.

The Safari Train can carry up to 14 children and operates on a configurable track, making it an option to discuss for suitable indoor or outdoor events.

Our Fire Department Fun House offers a larger, two-floor attraction, while the Bungee Trampolines and 6 Bed Trailer Trampolines provide further choices for organisers planning a substantial children’s entertainment area.

Ride suitability, operating space and participant restrictions should be confirmed for the individual attractions selected.

Larger Fairground Attractions for Northern Ireland Events

Some fun days are planned on a scale that calls for larger amusement rides. Public festivals, major community celebrations and corporate events may have room for attractions that create a visible centrepiece.

Our Sea Storm Pirate Ship is approximately 55ft x 24ft, while the Panoramic Wheel rises to approximately 38 metres.

A Giant Ferris Wheel standing just over 100ft is also available through our trading partners for suitable events.

These attractions require more extensive planning than a small inflatable or game. Site dimensions, access, ground conditions, power and the proposed event layout all need to be considered before availability and suitability can be confirmed.

For organisers looking to create a broader fairground programme, we can discuss our funfair hire options.

Traditional Side Stalls and Arcade Games

Traditional games can complement larger rides and inflatables by giving guests an activity they can join without committing to a lengthy session.

Our Kentucky Derby Racer accommodates up to eight players, who compete by rolling balls into scoring holes to move their racers towards the finish line.

We also offer a custom-branded Kentucky Derby for suitable promotional events and a Racing Reindeers version for festive programmes.

Our arcade games provide additional options for suitable indoor events, covered venues and mixed entertainment areas.

Fun Day Catering and Refreshments

Food and refreshments give visitors somewhere to take a break between activities and can be an important part of the overall event plan.

Our event food range includes Candy Floss, Popcorn, Dinky Donuts and slush drinks. We also offer Toast Your Own Marshmallows, with options to discuss for suitable events.

Where organisers require a wider catering programme, we can discuss outside catering.

Food service should be included in the site plan from the outset, with appropriate space for preparation, queues, seating and waste disposal. Catering areas should not obstruct access to rides, inflatables or emergency routes.

Stage Hire and Event Support

For a fun day with live performances, announcements or scheduled entertainment, Stage Truck NI provides a 30ft truck-mounted stage for suitable sites.

G Force Amusements can also assist with event crew, medics, SIA security, drivers, children’s entertainers and event management services where required.

These options can be discussed alongside the attractions when planning a larger event that needs more than equipment hire alone.

Fun Day Hire for Different Types of Events in Northern Ireland

The right selection will depend on the purpose of the event and who is attending.

Event type Hire options to consider
School fun day Bouncy castles, suitable inflatable games, children’s rides and refreshments
Corporate family fun day Assault courses, Rodeo Bull, competitive games, children’s attractions and catering
Community festival A mix of children’s rides, inflatables, side stalls, food and suitable larger fairground attractions
Sports club celebration Football Arena, sports challenges, assault course and family entertainment
Indoor family event Suitable arcade games, selected inflatables and catering arrangements approved by the venue
Large public fun day Funfair rides, children’s attractions, games, food, staging and event support

These are starting points rather than fixed packages. An organiser may need only one attraction, several complementary activities or a more extensive programme.

Planning a Safe Fun Day

Before booking, establish the expected attendance, age range of participants, event location and available operating space. For outdoor events, site access and ground conditions are important considerations. Indoor venues also require accurate ceiling heights and access measurements.

G Force Amusements is a Belfast-based, family-run company with more than ten years of experience providing event entertainment throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We carry £10 million public liability insurance, and relevant equipment is inspected and tested as required. Trained personnel provide setup, operation and supervision where appropriate.
